My Mental Health Break

My mental health break today was a solo walk.

After being up most of the night not feeling well, I was a tad cranky and my patience was short.

So I took a time out. Alone.

With the sun on my skin and the wind in my hair.

Such a powerful, yet simple pleasure. I arrived at my destination ready to adult again. Both myself and my family benefited.

So, if you have had a tough day don’t feel you need to push through. It is ok to take a break. We all deserve it
