Frances offers warm, trauma-aware coaching for bereaved people at any stage of their loss whether it’s while trying to conceive, miscarriage at any stage, stillbirth, pregnancy after loss, parenting after loss, termination for medical reasons, or childless not by choice. She also holds compassionate space for the grief of what it can be like to navigate health conditions or chronic pain amid loss.
Our stories deserve to be witnessed and nurtured as sacred parts of life. With a neutral perspective, Frances will encourage your own inner wisdom to speak by offering creative, reflective questions based on the story you choose to share. No matter how that might unfold, she will explore with you toward a glimmer of possibility within your experience, whatever that may be. No expectations.
As an artist of Scottish/Cree descent, Frances is a mother to two living children. She honours her own grief & glimmers by connecting to the land on slow walks, painting, knitting, and by building messy gardens. Born in Edmonton, raised in Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Frances has been growing roots in Calgary, AB since 2004. She is available to support you virtually via Zoom or Google Meet.
“Grief is not a disorder, a disease or a sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.” ~ Earl Grollman
